Technical Specs & Packaging Data for Chill Wrap
Cell Sizes
Chill-Wrap can be made in three different cell sizes -
55mm x 55mm - holds 18ml of fresh water
64mm x 70mm - holds 36ml of fresh water
75mm x 75mm - holds 50ml of fresh water
The weight of gel in each Chill Wrap ice replacement sheet is determined by the number and size of cells in each sheet. Sheets can be perforated for further separation into smaller sizes.
Chill Wrap is supplied in cartons, with an inner polybag containing precut sheets. Some standard configurations are shown in the following table.

Packaging
A cardboard outer carton with a polythene liner bag contains the Chill Wrap sheets. There are no perforations in the sheets.
Materials
The outer casing is formed from laminated polyethylene thermo-bonded to a sheet of self-sealing, non-woven polyester fabric. No adhesives are used during its construction and the plastic backing prevents adjacent sheets from sticking when freezing.
The absorbent powder is a unique formula of Sodium Polyacrylate with a free monomer level of less than 1g/kg.
The fabrics from which Chill Wrap is made comply with USFDA Title 21 requirements for products in contact with food.
